Wonderful as usual! Variety is indeed the spice of life.

Thanks for including my Holly and the Ivy in your blog and for letting me know. I stopped by to check out the blog and found some great music along with mine that I hadn’t heard before! merry Christmas ! be blessed in the New Year!

  3. Thank you Rayna for that contribution. Church has a beautiful voice, doesn’t she? I would love to hear her go acoustic with just a guitar.

And Tabbie. Be sure to catch the Hallelujah cover by Jeff Buckley. I added it after you visited. It’s amazing.

Scott: Thank you for posting the song. You wouldn’t think it would be hard to find good renditions of Christmas carols, would you? This post was the most difficult of any of the music posts I’ve done (see Pax Folkana on the right – Blackbird Fly, I Will, Ue O Muite). Most Christmas carols on YouTube are either over-produced/over-sung or the video suffers from Zoomitis, Shaky Hand Syndrome or the dreaded Audio Horriblis.

The Holly and the Ivy has such a pretty melody. Always has been one of my favorites. I was delighted to find a good version, thanks to you.

  5. GuenterErde/slacker hair: Me too.
